Massage after mastectomy

Maria Natera, a massage therapist, shows the location of muscles that can get tight after mastectomy.

Tight muscles can cause pain at the back of the shoulder and neck; it is worth understanding that the front muscles and scar may need attention. The sensation of pain and tightness may be less in the chest area but needs to be addressed.
